The Orange Crush started out as a custom pedal that had been used for quite a few years by Nick Greer endorsers. It was put into production after word got out that certain endorsers had this custom shop pedal and people started asking Nick Greer to make it available to them, too. It's a simple pedal that has the same tone as the Black Fuzz circuit with the added feature of the tone knob. The tone knob is a full range tone knob that, when turned full left, cuts the highs and gives the user a thick, bassy fuzz tone and slightly smoothes the fuzz. When full right, the tone knob gives the user lots of treble and in between sounds--very balanced and pleasing. This circuit was once only available through Nick Greer as a custom order but is now being produced along with it's companion the Green Giant as a Black Fuzz variant. Plug in, turn up, live loud!
