The Musician's Junkyard Screamer is an extremely high quality tweaked version of a tube screamer…very transparent sounding…great with fender amps…can be used as a “clean boost” or set for a very SRV “in your face” type of overdrive sound.

The pedal features only the highest quality components. Tight tolerances are required to achieve the cleanest signal and sound. Having the best components and soldering (wave) and a unique combination of op-amps and transistors produces unbelievable results.

Keeping the original bass guitar tone of the vintage 808 Tube Screamer that everyone loves was not only a goal but an achievement with this pedal. Unlike the 808, the Musician's Junkyard Screamer does not have that nasty bass cut off and keeps your original tone in full force.

The tone control on the Musician's Junkyard Screamer represents a vast improvement over the old 808. It produces a very open and uncompressed tone that sounds equally as well into a totally clean amp or to drive an already dirty amp tone.

This pedal features the same bright orange LEDs you see in crosswalk signs. They have the longest life hours and the lowest MA draw available. Next time you pull up to a stop light anywhere in the U.S., look for the orange hand signal to pop-up and think "Junkyard Screamer."

No expense was spared in producing the Musicians Junkyard Screamer. It even features the Fulltone 3 PDT with Bakelite Housing, the best 3PDT switch available, which eliminates the bypass / tone loss issue of the old greenie. The old 808 seemed to never be happy being off and had to suck your tone even while it was off.

It is recommended that you power this pedal with a 9-volt professional alkaline battery. You also can power it with a Dunlop ECB-03. The plug is wired negative center.
