Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 1 Wah (Model VAI-1)

Designed by Morley to meet Steve Vai's specifications. Morley's electro-optical sensor with silent switching eliminates the need for a mechanical switch.

FEATURES:

• Electro-Optical: The amount of light from the LED that shines on the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) is controlled by a shutter placed between the two devices. Morley's electro-optical design ensures smooth overall control of the wah without unwanted noise typical with potentiometer (pot) controlled wah pedals.
• Electro-Optical Switching: The Morley VAI-1 features electro-optical switching circuitry that allows the Bad Horsie pedal to go into wah mode without actuating a switch.
• Silent Switching: To further enhance the noiseless operation of our electro-optical design, the VAI-1 has FET silent switching. Standard foot switches will pop and click when switching from wah to Bypass. The Bad Horsie offers a smooth and quiet transition, making this pedal ideal for studio recording as well as live performances.
