Maxon ROD881 Real Overdrive Distortion

A built-in real tube produces the Maxon ROD881's overdrive / distortion tone.

The ROD881 is switchable between overdrive mode and distortion mode.

The ROD881 is equipped with a boost switch for quick changes between solos and rhythms.

The ROD881 is equipped with a switch for noise reduction to cut off unwanted noise.

An easily viewable LED indicates normal / effect mode.

Sample settings include booster, treble booster, natural drive, high gain drive, heavy distortion, and vintage distortion.

A Maxon AC adapter is included.

Features and Controls

Gain: Controls gain level. Turn it clockwise for more gain.

Bass: Controls effected tone. Turn it clockwise for more lows.

Middle: Controls effected tone. Turn it clockwise for more mids.

Treble: Controls effected tone. Turn it clockwise for more highs.

Master: Controls effected output volume. Turn it clockwise for more volume.

Mode: Switches between overdrive mode and distortion mode.

Boost On/Off, Boost LED

NR Threshold: Controls noise reduction threshold level. Turn it clockwise for more noise reduction.
