The Koch Twintone II has all the goodies of the "original" plus some NEW smart features.
Koch has added a low gain sub-channel in the "Overdrive" channel giving you three different
"killer" sounds to choose from. The Twintone II comes with a 5-way footswitch enabling you
to switch Channels, Reverb on/off and the Solo/Rhythm function. You can use all
your favorite effects using the Serial or the Parallel Effects loop.
The Twintone II's Clean sounds are rich and well defined. The Reverb, a classic long
scale Accutronics tank, is bright, open and has generous depth. The tone controls are very
responsive, giving you a wide pallet of sounds on all channels. The Twintone II fleatures a choice
of "Normal and Bright Clean" inputs.
The "Bright Clean" input, specially
designed for use with humbucking pick-ups, is slightly trimmed and excessive mids are
filtered out leaving a wonderful, well balanced, clean tone. The Overdrive channel is not
affected by this filter. The Overdrive channel has two sub-channels--OD and OD+. These
channels offer everything from an edgy clean with a nice sustain and moderate distortion to
an exciting crunch through to a pure saturated tone with infinite sustain, which brings you
into high-gain rockers paradise.

The low-gain OD channel expands the tonal variety of the Twintone II dramatically. If you
like the sound of older vintage amps driven over the top, this channel will not let you
down. The OD+ channel boosts the gain and fattens up the tone so you can create massive
power cords and singing lead notes without compromise. The "Gain" knob is a very powerful
feature combining Drive (OD) and Gain Boost (OD+) in one knob, thus guaranteeing a well
dimensioned boost in every position of the knob when switching from OD to OD+.

The Twintone II also offers some hip features like Koch's Solo/Rhythm facility. A
potentiometer on the back of the amp enables you to set a rhythm level. With the supplied
footswitch you can switch between the user adjustable rhythm level and full volume. Bear in
mind that the sound character remains basically the same only the volume changes. Are you
into recording? Well just use the recording output and get great results on tape or HD. Even
at home you can enjoy the great tones this amp has to offer. You can easily set the amp to
half its power or play it without a speaker connected using your headphones as monitor. The
built in Power Soak provides you with the choices of 0, 25 or 50 Watts output power.
The Twintone II offers more than enough tones to any guitar player.
