Homebrew Electronics Germania Treble Booster
The Homebrew Electronics Germania is a Treble Booster providing up to 20db of gain. The Germania sounds best when ran thru the input of a tube amp. Never run the Germania thru an effects loop. Extreme temperatures can affect the performance of the pedal. Features true hardwire bypass. Gain control-Varies the amount of gain and treble boost. (Note: It is normal for the gain control to make a “scratchy” noise when turned.) Input-Instrument in. Unplug when not in use to conserve battery life. Out-Out to Amp +9VDC jack-for use with +(positive) center 9VDC, filtered and regulated power supply (not included). On/Off- True bypass of effect. (Note: A small pop may occur when effect is switched on/off. This is normal and is a trait associated with true bypass.) Hi/Low Fi Switch- Switches between a stock treble boost sound and a more open, brighter sound. (Note: Only switch the Hi/Low Fi switch with Gain know down or pedal off! A loud pop will occur if switched with pedal on and gain up.)
