Headway HE1

The Headway HE1 G1 FEQ is a flexible piezo pickup for steel strings. It fits under the saddle, and it features a Fixed EQ / Mid Cut. Series Pre-amplifiers are designed to perform far beyond the typical pickup's "cold replication" by generating a controlled amount of flattering, even harmonics, perceived as top end sparkle similar to adding an aural exciter or a warmed up valve stage. In addition, the HE1 Series pre-amps feature tight tolerance audio components of maximum life, solder resist glass fibre PCB's, conformal coated against corrosion, in grounded metal boxes, padded against vibration. Each system is individually tested on a real instrument rig.

The FEQ (Fixed EQ version) offers an instrument specific fixed midrange cut (similar to the popular "smile"-shaped graphic EQ) and steeper body noise cut. The HE1 G1 FEQ is a simple installation solution requiring minimal modification to your prized instrument, while providing a great, warm, sparkling sound from any quality acoustic guitar.
