Box 760 Rock Hill, NY 12775 Phone/Fax 845-796-3616 1979 Fender Hardtail Stratocaster Black with White Pickguard  (USED - Very Good) This used Fender Hardtail Stratocaster appears to be from 1979 based on the serial number. The pickups and neck are from late 1978. The pickguard is white-black-white and has full metal shielding on the back, which would appear to indicate that it is of  later vintage. However, on examining the pickguard, we do not see any physical signs that indicate it has been changed. The guitar is in very good condition. The case is structurally sound. There is a 1" hole in the top of the case, but it did not break through the plush lining inside.
