The D*A*M MKII is the only straight on exact replica that D*A*M produces and with good reason, too. The MKII is a rebuild of the mighty Sola Sound Tone Bender MKII that was made famous by a certain Jimmy Page. The Sola Sound Tone Bender MKII needs no improvement!! It is one of the finest British fuzz boxes ever made and the D*A*M MKII is as close as you can get to the real deal with out paying serious amounts of cash.

It is a part for part sound for sound recreation of the original Sola Sound made units so whether you are after that elusive early Led Zeppelin/Page era Yardbirds tone or just after one fantastically organic sounding fuzz box this could be for you. Features a three stage transistor circuit that has almost endless amounts of sustain which will remain remarkably controllable and melodic.

Your "MKII" will be fitted with high quality British made Mullard Germanium Transistors to ensure the same lush fuzz tones as the originals had. Your MKII will either be fitted with a trio of Mullard OC75, OC71, OC83, OC78D, and / or OC82DM's.

These are built like the original units and therefore do not feature a power socket or a LED indictor. This classic fuzz sounds far superior when running from battery juice and has very little drain so a DC socket is not necessary. A no hassle battery drawer is fitted to make that battery change over a breeze. As for the lack of a LED indictor?. Well, you'll know when this beastie is on that's for sure!!!
