A transparent and warm sounding analog op amp (JRC4558D) overdrive. This pedal will drive and accentuate the nuances of your guitar and playing style. This is similar to a naturally overdriven tube amplifier. At a low O.D. (overdrive) setting the Green Machine acts as a remarkably fat sounding clean boost. As the drive is increased your guitar will sing! There is also a slight boost to the midrange to fatten up the tone without sacrificing the level of bass.
